 The Better Life is the debut studio album by American (from Escatawpa, Mississippi) rock band 3 Doors Down, released on February 8, 2000. Producer Paul Ebersold. The band rose to international fame with their first single, "Kryptonite", which placed in the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was the 11th-best-selling album of the year and was certified 7x platinum in the United States. It is the band's best-selling album to date, with sales of over 5,653,000 copies in the United States, as of July 2014.
