~ MAXINQUAYE (REINCARNATED) TOUR 2024 ~

 

 

Maxinquaye is the debut studio album by English (ftom Bristol) electronic, hip hop rapper (Trip-hop pioneer) Tricky, released on February 20, 1995. Producer Tricky - Mark Saunders - Howie B - Kevin Petrie. In the years leading up to the album, Tricky got his start with fellow Bristol icons Massive Attack before branching out on his own as a solo artist. Maxinquaye reached the number three position on the United Kingdom's albums chart. At the end of 1995, Maxinquaye was named the year's best record in critics polls conducted by several English publications, including NME, Melody Maker and The Wire.

 

Maxinquaye "Deluxe Edition" is the double studio "remastered" by English (from Bristol)  electronic, hip hop rapper (Trip-hop pioneer) Tricky, released on January 1, 2009. Producer Mark Saunders -  Tricky

As 'Maxinquaye' approaches it's 30th anniversary in 2024, the Reincarnated 2CD package presents a thoughtful reexamination of this influential album. It encompasses the original album remastered at Abbey Road Studios, six reinterpreted tracks from Tricky recorded in 2022, unreleased BBC session tracks created with a live band in 1995, rough monitor mixes, and a previously unreleased remix crafted by Leftfield. Released on September 9, 2023. Originally released in 1995, Maxinquaye is now considered a hallmark record of the trip hop genre.
