Guns N’ Roses, Korn, Green Day e moltissimi altri artisti. Tutti alla Visarno Arena di Firenze il 12, 13 e 15 giugno per l’edizione 2025 di Firenze Rocks, il festival che ogni estate trasforma la città nella capitale del rock internazionale.

Ad aprire il festival giovedì 12 giugno saranno i Guns N’ Roses, che torneranno in Italia dopo lo show al Circo Massimo di Roma l'8 luglio 2023 e l’indimenticabile performance a Firenze Rocks nell'estate 2018. In apertura ci saranno i Falling in Reverse, la band capitanata da Ronnie Radke che ha conquistato il pubblico globale con il suo mix di metal, hip-hop e melodie contagiose, i Rival Sons, gruppo californiano nominato ai Grammy per il suo “Feral Roots” (2019) che ha rinvigorito il rock 'n' roll contemporaneo, Dirty Honey, tra le realtà più promettenti della scena rock mondiale e le The Warning.

La giornata di venerdì 13 giugno vedrà protagonisti i Korn per un concerto che attraverserà oltre 30 anni di carriera della band che dagli anni ‘90 ha cambiato le sorti della musica metal, grazie a un sound oscuro e sperimentale e al richiamo a tematiche quali protesta, dolore, solitudine e redenzione.
Sul palco della seconda giornata anche i Public Enemy, band che fin dagli inizi della propria carriera ha saputo affrontare in musica temi cruciali come il razzismo, la violenza della polizia, la povertà e le ingiustizie sociali, gli Enter Shikari con il loro inconfondibile mix di post-hardcore, elettronica, punk e rock sperimentale, i Soft Play, gruppo in continua evoluzione fedele al proprio spirito di sperimentazione musicale, gli Atwood, realtà in ascesa con sonorità rock e indie e infine LOccasione, formazione senese che unisce folk, rock e musica cantautorale.

A chiudere il festival domenica 15 giugno saranno i Green Day, una delle band più influenti di tutto il panorama musicale mondiale. Lo dimostrano i numeri, oltre 75 milioni di dischi venduti e 10 miliardi di stream e il grandissimo successo del loro ultimo lavoro, “Saviors”, uscito nel gennaio 2024.
Ad aprire il concerto saranno gli Weezer, rock band americana nata a Los Angeles nel 1992. Con oltre 35 milioni di dischi venduti a livello globale e prestigiosi riconoscimenti quali Grammy e MTV Video Music Awards, il loro repertorio include successi come "Buddy Holly", "Island in the Sun" e "Beverly Hills". Sul palco anche gli Shame, acclamati come una delle maggiori speranze del post-punk, i Bad Nerves, band speed punk, i Punkcake, protagonisti indiscussi dell’ultima edizione di X-Factor e i Revue, band toscana che mescola alternative rock, shoegaze e indie pop.

Anche per l’edizione 2025, cuore pulsante del festival sarà l’Area Village, un ampio parco di oltre 6000mq dove il pubblico potrà immergersi completamente nell’atmosfera di Firenze Rocks. Lightbringer is the eighth studio album (their second album of 2023) by American (from Long Beach, California) rock band Rival Sons, released on October 2O, 2023. Produced by Dave Cobb. The band crafted Lightbringer and Darkgighter during the same sessions over the course of 2021. The whole album is great.

Darkfighter is the seventh studio album by American (from Long Beach, California) rock band Rival Sons, released on June 2, 2023. Produced by Dave Cobb. Darkfighter might just be Rival Sons' masterpiece.

Keep Me Fed is the fourth studio album by Mexican (from Monterrey) alternative heavy metal rock band The Warning. Released on March 8, 2024. Producer Anton DeLost [Highly Suspect, Mayday Parade]. Their evolution with powerful anthems and raw energy. Six singles were released ahead of the album. The second single, "S!CK", reached # 8 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, remaining on the chart for 20 weeks. The album It reached # 1 in UK Rock & Metal Albums (OCC).

Can't Find the Brakes is the second studio album by American (from Los Angeles, CA) heavy hard metal alternative rock band Dirty Honey, released on November 3, 2023. Producer Nick DiDia (Rage Against The Machine, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam).
