(The duo brothers Jim and William Reid will embark on a celebratory tour headlining of the U.K. and Europe, starting in Manchester on March 22, 2024 with a new album: Glasgow Eyes)
 

Glasgow Eyes is the eight studio album, will mark their first studio release in seven years, following comeback album Damage and Joy (2017), by Scottish (from East Kilbride) alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain. Released on March 22, 2024. Producer The Jesus and Mary Chain. The album received positive reviews from critics and debuted at # 7 on the UK Albums Chart, the band's first top 10 placement since the Barbed Wire Kisses compilation in 1988.

 

 

 Psychocandy is the debut studio album by Scottish  (from East Kilbride) alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain. It was released in November 18, 1985. Producer The Jesus and Mary Chain. The album is considered a landmark recording: its combination of guitar feedback and noise with traditional pop melody and structure proved influential on the forthcoming shoegaze genre and alternative rock in general. The album reached # 31 on the UK Albums Chart and was preceded by three charting 1985 singles: "Never Understand", "You Trip Me Up", and "Just Like Honey ». The album placed at # 2 in NME's list of best albums of 1985, # 3 in The Face, and #r 5 in Melody Maker.
