Peter Gabriel (1: Car) is the debut studio album by English (from Chobham, Surrey) singer-songwriter instrumentalist Peter Gabriel (lead singer and flautist of the progressive rock band Genesis), released on February 25, 1977. Producer Bob Ezrin. It peaked at #7 on the UK Albums Chart and #38 on the US Billboard 200. The album received the prize of the French Académie Charles Cros. After leaving Genesis in 1975, Gabriel launched a highly successful solo career.


Moroccan Roll is the second studio album by English (from London) jazz fusion (
create a unique musical genre) group Brand X, released on Aporil 1, 1977. Producer Dennis Mackay. The album is mostly instrumental. It peaked at #37 in the UK and #125 in the US. Phil Collins leaving the group for Genesis commitments.
