A Spanner in the Works
is the seventeenth studio album by English (from London) rock and pop singer and songwriter Rod Stewart, released on May 29, 1995. It ended a four-year gap since his previous studio album.  Beggar on a Beach of Gold is the fourth album by Englis (from Dover) alternative pop soft rock supergroup Mike + the Mechanics, released on 6 March 1995. Producer Mike Rutherford - Christopher Neil. The album was certified Gold by the BPI.
