Who's Next is the fifth studio album by English (from London) rock band The Who, developed from the aborted Lifehouse project, a multi-media rock opera written by the group's guitarist Pete Townshend as a follow-up to the band's 1969 album Tommy. Released on August14, 1971. Produced by The Who - Kit Lambert - Chris Stamp - Pete Kameron - Glyn Johns. It has since been viewed by many critics as the Who's best album and one of the greatest albums of all time
