Tanx is a studio album by English rock band T. Rex (formed in 1967 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan), the eighth since their debut as Tyrannosaurus Rex in 1968, and the fourth under the moniker T. Rex. It was released on January 28, 1973, in the US and on March 17, 1973 in UK. Producer Tony Visconti. Upon its release, Tanx was a commercial success. It peaked at number 4 in the UK Albums chart.
'Tanx' was T. Rex's final great album before the glam movement ended.

Mickey Michael Norman Finn — congas, percussions, drums, bass, vocals (1969-1977; died on January 11, 2003)
Steve Currie — bass guitar (1970-1977)
Bill Legend — drums (1970-1973)

At the end of the tour 1973, Bill Legend left T.Rex and was replaced by former Eire Apparent drummer Davey Lutton.
