(The 1978 World Tour was the first concert tour by hard rock band Van Halen. The world tour, which was in support of their debut album, covered mainly North America with 124 shows in the United States and two shows in Canada, 39 shows in Europe, and nine shows in Japan.)

 

Van Halen is the self-titled debut studio album by American (from Pasadena, California) hard rock band Van Halen. Released on February 10, 1978, the album peaked at #19 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Ted Templeman.
