Rickie Lee Jones is the debut studio album by American (from Chicago, Illinois) r&b jazz pop singer-songwriter Rickie Lee Jones, released on February 28, 1979. Producer Lenny Warner - Russ Titelman. The lead single "Chuck E.'s in Love" peaked at # 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, while the album peaked at # 3 on the Billboard 200 and became a critical and commercial hit. The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on August 7, 1979.
