Lovehunter is the second studio album by British hard rock band Whitesnake (The group was originally put together as the backing band for singer David Coverdale, who had left Deep Purple. Though the band quickly developed into their own entity, Coverdale is the only constant member throughout their history.), released on October 1, 1979. Produced by Martin Birch. It was the group's last album to feature original drummer Dave Dowle. It charted at No. 29 on the UK Albums Chart.
