McGuinn-Hillman is the third and final studio album by American (from Los Angeles, California) rock country folk bluegrass americana band (reduced to a duo) McGuinn and Hillman (founding members of the folk rock band the Byrds) , released on September 1, 1980. Producer Jerry Wexler - Barry Beckett.
City is the second studio album (featuring Gene Clark, left the band, due to his increasing drug abuse and deteriorating mental state, in late 1979 — rhythm guitar, vocals (1977–1979); died on May 24, 1991) by American (from Los Angeles, California) rock country folk bluegrass americana band (reduced to a duo - ) McGuinn and Hillman (founding members of the folk rock band the Byrds), released on January 1, 1980. Producer Ron Albert - Howard Albert. It reached #136 on the Billboard album charts,the reaction of the music press was again mostly negative, but it had been successful enough to justify a third album release with Capitol. Following the departure of Gene Clark; Chris and Roger continued to perform in concert, they disbanded in 1980.
