(The tour to promote the Junk Culture album tour began in the UK on 26 May 1984, finishing in the Rep. of Ireland on 20 October. The group toured for the first time as a six-piece with the addition of the Weir Brothers on brass. )
Junk Culture is the fifth studio album by English ( from the Wirral, Merseyside) ectronic synth pop new wave band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on April 30, 1984. Producer Brian Tench - OMD. Junk Culture has been listed as one of 1984's best albums.
