 Once Upon a Time is the seventh studio album by Scottish (from Glasgow) rock band Simple Minds, released in October 21, 1985. Producer Jimmy Iovine - Bob Clearmountain. It topped the UK charts, and peaked at No. 10 on the US charts, spending five consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard and 16 weeks in the Top 20.

 

Picture Book is the debut album by English (from Manchester) pop and soul group Simply Red, released on October 11,1985. Produced by Stewart Levine.It contains the U.S. #1 single "Holding Back the Years", the band's most successful single, and a cover of The Valentine Brothers' "Money's Too Tight (to Mention)". Three other singles were released from the album: "Come to My Aid", "Jericho", and "Open Up the Red Box". 

This Is the Sea is the third studio album by English (from London) Irish folk rock band The Waterboys, released on 16 September 16,1985. Producer Mike Scott - John Brand - Mick Glossop - Karl Wallinger. The last of their "Big Music" albums, it is considered by critics to be the finest album of their early rock-oriented sound, described as "epic" and "a defining moment", it was the first Waterboys album to enter the United Kingdom charts, peaking at number 37.This Is the Sea contains the best-selling Waterboys single, the song "The Whole of the Moon".
