Night Calls is the thirteenth studio album by English rock/blues/soul singer Joe Cocker (who came to popularity in the 1960s, and was most known for his gritty voice and his cover versions of popular songs, particularly those of The Beatles. The cover of their song With A Little Help From My Friends, sung by Cocker at the Woodstock Festival, initially made him famous). Released on October 7, 1991. Produced by Jeff Lynne - Chris Lord-Alge - David Tickle.There were three different editions of the album released in 1991 and 1992. Each of them featured different selections of songs, in different orders, and had different works of cover art. In addition, a DTS edition of the album was released in the UK in 1998, also with a different selection of songs.
