Black Eyed Man is the second studio album by Canadian (from Toronto, Ontario) alternative country folk blues band Cowboy Junkies, released on February 11, 1992.  Producer Michael Timmins. The album continues the band's evolution from a spare country blues style (exemplified by the 1988 album The Trinity Session) to a more mainstream country rock style. Quite splendid.

 

The Trinity Session is the second studio album by Canadian (from Toronto, Ontario) alternative country folk blues band Cowboy Junkies, released on November 15, 1988. Producer Peter Moore. The Los Angeles Times named the recording one of the 10 best albums of 1988.
