Divine Intervention is the sixth studio album by American (from Huntington Park, California) thrash metal band Slayer, released on September 27, 1994. Producer Slayer. Divine Intervention was the band's first album to feature Paul Bostaph, replacing original drummer Dave Lombardo, who left the band in 1992. The album peaked at # 8 on the US Billboard 200 and #r 15 on the UK Albums Chart. 

 

Burn My Eyes is the debut studio album by American (from Oakland, California) heavy groove thrash nu alternative metal band Machine Head, released on August 9, 1994. Producer Colin Richardson.This is Machine Head's only studio album to feature drummer Chris Kontos. The album has since become a lasting success. In 1994, it quickly became a Roadrunner Records best seller and was the label's best-selling debut album for a number of years.
