(Destiny's Child World Tour (alternatively titled Destiny's Child Tour 2002) was the debut headlining concert tour by American girl group Destiny's Child. It was launched in support of their third studio album Survivor (2001). Start date: April 29, 2002 — End date: June 24, 2002. Alongside songs from Survivor, the set list for Destiny's Child World Tour also incorporated songs from Destiny's Child's eponymous debut studio album (1998) and The Writing's on the Wall (1999), as well as Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams' respective solo performances.)

 

Survivor is the third studio album by American (from Houston, Texas) R&B funk soul pop girl TRIO group Destiny's Child. It was released on April 25, 2001. Producer Walter Afanasieff - Anthony Dent - Damon Elliott - Ken Fambro - Mark J. Feist -  Rob Fusari - Calvin Gaines - Beyoncé Knowles - Mathew Knowles - … As their breakthrough second studio album The Writing's on the Wall (1999) became a rising commercial success. Survivor produced four singles. Its title track peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top ten in 18 additional countries. Survivor was certified double-platinum by the RIAA as of June 4, 2001, four weeks after the album's release. Four weeks after that, on July 2, 2001, Survivor was certified triple-platinum in the United States. As of July 27, 2001, Survivor has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide.
