Producer Peter Collins. The album won a 1991 Northwest Area Music Award for Best Metal Recording , and it stands as Queensrÿche's most commercially successful release, reaching triple-platinum status.

 

 

 Operation: Mindcrime is the third studio album from the American (from Bellevue, Washington) heavy metal, alternative rock,  progressive metal band Queensrÿche, released on May 3, 1988. Producer Peter Collins. Operation: Mindcrime is a concept album and a rock opera. It ranked at No. 34 on Kerrang! magazine's "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time".
