Favourite Worst Nightmare is the second studio album by English (from Sheffield) alternative indie rock band Arctic Monkeys, released on April 23, 2007. Producer James Ford - Mike Crossey. In comparison to their debut album, the album is considered more musically ambitious, with ambient sounds and expanded drum rhythms being introduced. The album debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard 200. The album has since been certified 4× platinum in the UK. It was nominated for the 2007 Mercury Prize and won Best British Album at the 2008 Brit Awards.
