West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum is the third studio album by English (formed in Leicester) rock band Kasabian, released on June 5, 2009. The album went on to No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart. Produced by Dan the Automator - Sergio Pizzorno. The album was nominated for the 2009 Mercury Prize. In October 2009, it was voted the best album of the year by Q Magazine.
