Blackwater Park is the fifth studio album by Swedish (from Stockholm) progressive death rock metal band Opeth. It was released on 12 March 2001. Producer Opeth - Steven Wilson. The album marks the first collaboration between Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson and the band, as Wilson had been brought in to produce the album. Loudwire listed Blackwater Park as the #1 progressive metal album of all time. It was Metal Storm's #1 album of 2001 and #4 on the Top 200 albums of all time. For professionals and audiences, Blackwater Park is Opeth's cult album par excellence. What the majority of fans prefer.

 

  Watershed is the ninth studio album by the Swedish (from Stockholm) progressive death rock metal band Opeth. Released by Roadrunner Records on May 19, 2008, Watershed is the first studio album by Opeth to feature guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Martin Axenrot, who replaced longtime guitarist Peter Lindgren and drummer Martin Lopez. Producer Mikael Åkerfeldt - Jens Bogren. It was the band's last studio album to contain death growls or any death metal elements until 2024's The Last Will and Testament.
