(The Outside Tour, supporting the album, was a tour by the English rock musician David Bowie, opening in September 1995 and lasting over a year. The tour visited stops in North America and Europe. Morrissey was slated to be the opening act of the European tour, but (after getting a poor reception from crowds and critics) he suddenly and unexpectedly quit on 29 November 1995. Outside (stylised as 1. Outside) is the 20th studio album by the English (from London) singer song-writer musician David Bowie (regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century), released on September 25, 1995. Producer David Bowie - Brian Eno - David Richards. The album,
brilliant and inspired, daringly experimental, achieved UK and US chart success and yielded three top 40 UK singles. Among positive reviews, critics considered Outside Bowie's best record since Scary Monsters (1980).
