The New Abnormal is the sixth studio album (7 years after Comedown Machine) by American (from New York City, NY) rock band The Strokes (They were a leading group of the early-2000s indie rock revival). Released on April 10, 2020. Producer Rick Rubin. Critics considered the album a return to form. The album reached number 1 in Scotland and the top ten in six other countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. It also won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021, the band's first nomination and win.
The Prettiest Curse is the third studio album by Spanish (from Madrid) garage rock band Hinds. It was released on June 5, 2020. Producer Jennifer Decilveo (who produced albums for Bat for Lashes, The Wombats,…).
