The 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the festival was first postponed to 2021, and then rescheduled to 2022. All the artists initially planned for the 2020 edition of Bologna Sonic Park (My Chemical Romance, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and The Chemical Brothers) confirmed their presence for the 2022 edition of the festival (4th date festival). ***
