 Being Funny In A Foreign Language is the fifth studio album by English (from Wilmslow, Cheshire) pop alternative synth indie rock band The 1975. It was released on October 14, 2022. Producer Matthew Healy - George Daniel - Jack Antonoff. It debuted atop the UK Albums Chart as well as reaching #1 in Scotland, Ireland and Australia. It also reached the top 10 in New Zealand, Japan, Canada, the Netherlands and the United States. The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2023 Brit Awards.
