Daemon is the sixth full-length studio album by Norwegian (from Oslo) black metal band Mayhem (They were one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene, and their music has profoundly influenced the black metal genre), released on October 25, 2019. Producer Tore Stjerna - Teloch. Loudersound awarded it 4.5 out of 5 and strongly compared it to the band's debut album De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.

 

  De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is the debut studio album by Norwegian (from Oslo) black metal band Mayhem (They were one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene, and their music has profoundly influenced the black metal genre), released on May 24, 1994 (Songwriting began in 1987, but due to the suicide of vocalist Per "Dead" Ohlin and the murder of guitarist Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth, the album's release was delayed until May 1994). Producer Pytten - Euronymous - Hellhammer. De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is widely regarded one of the most influential and essential black metal albums of all time.It is the band's only studio album to feature Aarseth and Varg "Count Grishnackh" Vikernes. 

 

Deathcrush is the debut EP studio album and overall first commercial release by Norwegian (from Oslo) black metal band Mayhem (They were one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene, and their music has profoundly influenced the black metal genre). It was released in August 1, 1987. Producer Mayhem - Erik Avnskog. Despite its limited print run, the mini-album appeared in the top 20 on Kerrang! magazine's album charts.
