(Slipknot mark the 25th anniversary of their 1999 debut with a succession of highly-anticipated shows throughout Europe and the UK. Dubbed the 'Here Comes the Pain' Tour, the December stretch of dates will include support from Bleed From Within and include stops in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland, Glasgow and a finale in London at the storied O2 Arena - marking the band's first return to the venue since 2020.  Start Date: August 10 — End Date: December 21, 2024)

 

 

The End, So Far is the seventh studio album by American (from Des Moines, Iowa) nu heavy alternative death groove metal band Slipknot. It was released on September 30, 2022. Producer Slipknot - Joe Barresi. It is the first studio album to feature percussionist Michael Pfaff, who joined the band in 2019 and is their final studio album to feature sampler and keyboardist Craig Jones and drummer Jay Weinberg before their respective departures in June and November 2023.The End, So Far debuted within the top ten in over ten countries worldwide, including peaks at the summit in several countries and In the United States, the album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, the first album of theirs not to debut at the summit since 2004's Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses). It is quite simply the best Slipknot album and one of the best metal albums of the year 2022.

This is the only album to feature original guitarist Josh Brainard who left at the end of recording in late 1998 while the band was taking a brief break.The album peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200, and has gone on to become certified double platinum in the United States, making it the band's best-selling album. In 2011, it was voted the best debut album of the last 25 years by readers of Metal Hammer magazine. The album became the "biggest selling extreme metal album" at the time.On September 9, 2009, Slipknot released a special edition version of the album to commemorate the tenth anniversary of its release. It was released in two forms, a digipak and a box set.
