 Songs of a Lost World is the fourteenth studio album by the English rock ethereal dark wave band The Cure, released on November 1, 2024. Producer Robert Smith - Paul Corkett. It is the band's first release of new material in 16 years since the release of 4:13 Dream in 2008. All the songs on the album were composed solely by singer/guitarist Robert Smith, for the first time since the 1985 album The Head on the Door. It is also their first studio album to feature guitarist Reeves Gabrels. The record was released a day after Halloween,out at midnight, at Smith's request.It went to#1 on the UK Albums Chart and it reached #4 on the Billboard 200. The album won Best Alternative Music Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

 

 

Boys Don’t Cry (86 MIX) remastered 2026 by Matt Colton,. single by The Cure, making it available digitally for the first time ever in line with its 40th Anniversary, became the title track of the US edition of the band’s debut album, Three Imaginary Boy. 

 

 

The Bad Fire is the eleventh studio album (The album is the successor to 2021's "As the Love Continues"), by the Scottish (from Glasgow) post-rock instrumental rock band Mogwai, released on January 24, 2025.Producer John Congleton. The illustrious clutch magnifiquement the musical atmosphere of this new record and position the group towards a less gloomy trend.

 

It’s The Long Goodbye is the sixth studio album (It is the band's first studio album since 2019, seven years after "It Won/t Be Like This All the Time") BY Scottish (from Kilsyth) post-punk/indie rock band The Twilights Sad, released on March 27, 2026. Produced by MacFarlane with additional production from Andy Savours. The Twilight Sad have crafted a definitive statement on the enduring power of the beautiful, articulate scream. It charted at  #3 on the Scottish Albums Chart, and #42 on the UK Albums Chart.

 

 

We Were Just Here is the third studio album by Irish (from Dundalk in County Louth) aternative rock, post-punk, experimental noise rock, trip hop, shoegaze, five-piece band Just Mustard, released on October 24, 2025. Producer David Noonan - Just Mustard. An album with the aesthetic "Noisy Industrial", with mechanical percussion where Katie Lynch's voice functions as a perfect contrast. We find the identity of the quintet, but also electronic experiments.
