It’s The Long Goodbye is the sixth studio album (It is the band's first studio album since 2019, seven years after "It Won/t Be Like This All the Time") BY Scottish (from Kilsyth) post-punk/indie rock band The Twilights Sad, released on March 27, 2026. Produced by MacFarlane with additional production from Andy Savours. The Twilight Sad have crafted a definitive statement on the enduring power of the beautiful, articulate scream. It charted at  #3 on the Scottish Albums Chart, and #42 on the UK Albums Chart. This album, for frontman James Graham, reflects on the death of his mother following a long illness, as well as its impact on the musician’s mental health.
