Document is the fifth studio album by American (from Athens, Georgia) alternative rock folk new wave pop band R.E.M., released on August 31, 1987. Producer Scott Litt - R.E.M. The album became R.E.M.'s greatest success at the time, giving the band their first top 10 hit ("The One I Love") and album, peaking at #10 on the Billboard 200.
 
 

 In My Tribe is the third studio album by American alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs. It was released on July 27, 1987. Producer Peter Asher.

Love is the second album by English rock band The Cult, released on October 18, 1985. It gave The Cult commercial success in the UK and abroad.To coincide with the band's Love Live Tour in August 2009, the band released two different editions of the album. Producer Steve Brown.

Sean "Feargal" Sharkey
is the debut solo studio album by English (from Derry, Northern Ireland) punk rock new wave pop singer Feargal Sharkey (
lead vocalist of Undertones), released in November 11, 1985. Producer David A. Stewart (Eurythmics). The album peaked at No. 12 in the UK and contains Sharkey's best known single, "A Good Heart",his only No. 1. His solo work is significantly different from the semi-punk offerings of The Undertones.
